Erad is a beautiful hamlet in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is at an altitude of about 13,648 ft above sea level and is around seven kilometers from
Tangtse. Erad is flanked by
Zingral on its west and
Lukung on the east. The northern and southern parts are bordered by
Muglib and
Namchang respectively. The region also offers many short treks and hikes to upland villages.
Erad can be reached by road from Spangmik, Zagok and Kiagi. A trek through Roang also leads to Erad.
