Emoon Bhagavati Temple



Emoon Bhagavati Temple lies at Sekharipuram Village in Palakkad District. The temple is flanked by the Kavu Street on the western side and Palmethu Street on the northern side. The presiding deity of the temple is Goddess Durga.

The Emoon Bhagavati is seen facing east even though the entrance of the temple is from north. The Upadevata (sub-deity) installed here is Nagaraja, the serpent God. It is seen towards the north-eastern part of the main deity.

Shri Lakshmi Narayana Swamy Temple, Ganapati Temple, Shiva Temple and Shri Ayyappa Temple are other temples in the vicinity.
