Eechanari Vinayagar Temple is a delightful shrine situated at Pollachi Main Road, in Eechanari, about 10 km from
Coimbatore. It is one of the oldest temples in
Coimbatore, dating back to 1500 AD. The temple enshrines
Lord Ganesh as the presiding deity.
During Karthikai, Poornima, Amavasya and Chaturthi special pujas are conducted. Ganesh Chaturthi is the major festival celebrated here amid much religious fervor. Thousands of devotees visit the temple every year.
