Dyali Festival

Dyali, a popular festival of Himachal Pradesh, is celebrated two months after Diwali.

One of the significant features of this festival is that women light pine twigs and offer Puja to the Gods in the evening. The little boys hurry from one courtyard to another collecting the walnuts, which are thrown to them. Special sweets are cooked and distributed on this festive occasion.
