One of the prime attractions of Gujarat, Dwarka Lighthouse is situated 35 km from Dwarka. The surroundings of the lighthouse has a calm and serene atmosphere, which is best suited to relax oneself away from the hustle and bustle of the town.
In 1866, an 18 m high tower was constructed and the present day 43 m high tower was built between 1960 and 1962.
The tower was commissioned in the year 1964 with some advanced facilities. From the top of the tower one can have a magnificent of the town and the Arabian Sea.
The lighthouse is open only in the evenings from 16:30 to 18:00 hrs.
