Durbar Hall

Built during the reign of Vijayanagar kings, Durbar Hall is one of the ancient monuments in Hampi. It was a marvelous 100 pillared hall built on a raised platform. The remains of the hall and pillar sockets can be seen around. Now only a large basement about 40 sq m and a monolithic trough about 13 m long, placed to the east of the hall have survived.
