Dundurlungpa

Situated a little east of Dundur is Dundurlungpa, a town in Kargil District. It is at an altitude of 12,401 ft above sea level and is about 193 km from Srinagar, capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

The nearest towns linked with Dundurlungpa are Yaldoda in the north, Dah in the east and Chalten in the south. Mulbekh, Lamayuru and Namika La are within 30 km.

Dundurlungpa can be approached by road from Kargil and Leh. The nearest railhead is Jammu Tawi Railway Station, which is on the Jammu – Pathankot line. The closest airports are Leh Airport and Srinagar Airport.
