Dudhadhari Mutt




Founded by Shri Balbhadra Das Mahant, Dudhadhari Mutt is situated at Raipur in Chhattisgarh. He was a devotee of Lord Hanuman. According to legend, Shri Balbhadra Das started worshipping a piece of stone considering it as an idol of Lord Hanuman. Every day a cow, Surhi, would come and bathe the stone with milk. Mahantji stop eating food and started drinking this milk. Hence the name Dudhadhari (means food consisting of milk) exist.

Raipur Bus Station and Raipur Junction Railway Station are the nearest access points.
