Dr. B R Ambedkar Medical College is situated at Kadugondanalli, Bangalore. It was built in honor of the Father of Indian Constitution, Dr. B R Ambedkar. The college has two hospitals with 850 beds, offering excellent services to the patients.
Post graduate courses and researches are conducted on various branches. As part of the curriculum, conferences, seminars, quizzes, and programs of continuing medical education are conducted. The college also supports various co-curricular activities.
The college also offers monthly specialists camps in various villages. Special programs are conducted to spread knowledge about family planning, leprosy eradication, prevention of blindness, and universal immunization.
The college has a well-stocked library with internet and medline access. It has about 14,100 books on various subjects. The library also has computers, video and TV, photocopier, and film readers.
