Established in 1980 by Panchajanya Vidya Peetha, Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology is situated at Mallathahalli, just 10 kms from the heart of Bangalore. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technological University, Karnataka.
The institute offers Bachelors Degree in Engineering courses on various disciplines such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics, industrial engineering and management, and computer science, instrumentation and electronics, telecommunication and medical electronics.
