Dooru

Dooru is a scenic town in Anantnag District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about eight kilometers from Qazigund and is at an altitude of 6174 ft above sea level.

Dooru is connected with the neighboring places such as Yor Khoshpur in the west, Acchabal in the north, Wangom in the east and Munda in the south. Verinag Spring is just a few kilometers away. Vitasta Temple and Uma Nagri Temple are other nearby places of worship.

Dooru is reachable from Anantnag, about 25 km. The nearest railway station is at Jammu.
