Ooty, the Queen of hill stations, is home to the picturesque Dodabetta peak. Boasting a height of 2,623 m, it is the highest point in the
Nilgiris District. Its height has made it an important viewpoint in the hill station.
The view from Dodabetta Peak may occasionally be hampered by the mist that covers this peak. But on a clear day, a person standing on top of this peak gets a clear view not only of the surrounding landscapes of the hill station, but also the border regions of the neighboring districts of Coimbatore and Mysore.
