District Museum is located at
Hassan, about 194 km west of
Bangalore in
Karnataka. Established in 1977, the museum exhibits a fabulous collection of archaeological antiquities. Bronze and stone sculptures, paintings, weapons, coins and inscriptions are on display.
District Museum is open from 09:00 to 17:00 hrs on all days except Mondays and public holidays.
