District Museum is an archaeological museum located in
Dhar,
Madhya Pradesh. Dhar is about 60 km west of
Indore.
The museum has a good collection of images and coins, sculptures, architectural pieces, inscriptions, pottery, various art objects, ornaments and photographs.
Entry to the museum is free. Visitors are allowed between 07:00 and 16:00 hrs on all days except Mondays. Photography inside the museum is permitted.
