District Museum, Diphu




Founded in 1886, District Museum is located at Lorulangso in Diphu. It holds a unique collection of 487 artifacts of socio-cultural and archaeological importance. The sculptural image of Lord Narashimha of the 13th century is a remarkable item.

Collection includes traditional fishing and hunting tools used by tribes, ornaments, traditional musical instruments, handlooms, textiles and handicrafts.
