Diada Temple

Diada Temple is a unique shrine located at Daida village in Guntur District. Situated on the banks of the Krishna River, the Shivling of the temple is placed in a cave.

To have a darshan of the Shivling, one has to enter the cave and walk for about a kilometer. Then there is a narrow way from where one has to crawl and this leads to a big open place, where the Shivling is placed. The open space leads to several other caves, which are unexplored. While returning one can take a different route.

There are no lights inside the cave and one has to carry a torch.

Daida is around 14 km from Macherla.
