Dhulev




Dhulev is an exquisite village bounded by the Aravalli Ranges, at a distance of about 12 km from Rishabh Dev in Udaipur District. Nestled on the banks of the Koyal River, Dhulev is a major pilgrim center for Jains. Shri Rishabh Dev Digambar Jain Atishaya Teerth Kshetra, one of the famous Jain temples in India, is the major draw here. This temple houses the beautiful idol of Bhagwan Rishabh Dev, which is believed to have been brought from the historic village of Khoonadary, which used to be a prosperous city in ancient times. Bhagwan Rishabh Dev Jayanti is the major festival celebrated here. Dhulev has comfortable accommodation facilities. By road, Udaipur is 65 km from the village and the nearest airport is located there. Rishabh Dev Road Railway Station is the nearest railhead (12 km).
