Dholbaha is an ancient temple town located about 25 km away from Hoshiarpur. The excavation work held here proves that this town had a glorious civilization dating back to the 7th and 8th centuries. Historians have found numerous buried walls, temple plans, statues, chopping tools and hand axes from here. The idols including a head of Lord Vishnu are also worth visiting. These artifacts are displayed at the Archeological Museum in the Vedic Research Institute at Dholbaha.
