Dhilwan Sodhian




Dhilwan Sodhian is a small bustling town in Faridkot District of Punjab. It lies on the Faridkot-Bathinda road (National Highway 15), about five kilometers north-west of Kotkapura and eight kilometers south-east of Bargan. The area has been much honored by the visit of Guru Gobind Singh. Gurdwara Godavarisar Patshahi and Gurdwara Patshahi Das are the major shrines situated nearby. By road, Dhilwan Sodhian is nearly 15 km from Faridkot. Local buses are available for travel, which connect the town with nearby towns and villages. Kotkapura Railway Station on Bathinda-Ferozepur line of Northern Railways serves this area. Amritsar International Airport is the nearest airport.
