Dhikala lies 40 km northwest of
Ramnagar in
Uttaranchal. It is scenically located overlooking the Ramganga reservoir and forested hills beyond. The forest here has a wealth of wildlife including Chital and
Sambar deer and several varieites of birds. The stretch from Dhangari to Dhikala is an especially magnificent patch of forest.
