Dheema



Dheema, popularly known as Khema, is a village that lies near Tharad, about 11 km from Deesa in Banaskantha District. The Jains consider this a sacred place because of a temple located here. Shri Dheema Teerth is famous for the marvelous idol of Parshwanath in Padmasana position. It is believed that the renovation of this shrine took place under the guidance of King Kumarpal. Vav Teerth is the nearby attraction. The nearest railway station is located at Deesa (11 km).
