Dhaula

Dhaula village, an important Sikh site, is located about 11 km south-west of Barnala, Sangrur District. This village is famous for two Sikh shrines. Tradition has it that Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh guru, had visited here during his journey to Dhaula. About 2 km north of Dhaula, the Gurdwara Arisar has been constructed to mark his visit. Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Naumi Sohival is another attraction. The nearest airport is at Ludhiana. Bus services are available from Sangrur Bus Station.
