Dhangaon is a small town situated in the eastern part of
Khargone District, about 9 km north of Dorwa and 11 km south of Sanawad. It is 14 km from Gaul, 15 km from Attar and 17 km from Mortakka. The nearest major city is
Indore, around 75 km to the north.
Devi Ahilya Bai Holeker Airport (80 km) and
Khandwa Railway Station are the closest airport and railhead respectively. The state highway connecting Indore and
Khandwa passes through Dhangaon.
