Dhandumariamman Temple is located at
Coimbatore. The temple was built in 1790. It is said that during the period of
Tipu Sultan, Goddess Dhandumariamman appeared in the dream of one of his soldiers and told him where she would like to reside in future. He went in search of the place in his dream and found it. The temple is said to have been built in that place.
