Dhalai is a taluk headquarters, situated in Cachar District of Assam. Palanghat (11 km), Sonaimukh (11 km) and Silkuri (18 km) are some of the well known destinations in its vicinity. Prime attraction is the Bharambaba Temple at Silkuri grant.
