Devikothi




Devikothi is a picturesque village located 110 km from Chamba, in the Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh. It lies at an altitude of about 2,350 m on the Dalhousie - Cheni Pass – Killar trek route in the Churah Valley.

Surrounded by dense green forests, Devikothi commands panoramic views of the snow-clad mountain peaks all around. The mountainous area remains covered with snow for six months in a year.

The main attraction of Devikothi is the Chamunda Temple dedicated to goddess Chamunda. An annual fair is held here in the month of April.

Cheni Pass, Tissa, Mindhal, Udaipur and Gadasru Lake are nearby tourist destinations. Devikothi is an ideal spot for trekking and mountaineering.

Gaggal Airport is the nearest airport. Nearest railway station is at Pathankot in Punjab.
