Also known as Deodar

Devadaru (Deodar), a large evergreen tree, is native to the Himalayas. It grows at elevations of 3,500 to 12,000 ft above sea level. The leaves are dark green color, three sided, glaucous, and sharply pointed. The branches are horizontal or slightly ascending or descending. Devadaru is used as an anti-inflammatory. Its oil is useful in removing pain. Dedwar and Mastadaru are the other Indian names of Devadaru.
