Dera Jiwan Nagar is located about 30 km west of
Sirsa in
Haryana. It is an important centre of Namdhari sect. Earlier known as Chichal, the village was rechristened after Jeewan Kaur mother of late Partap Singh, a Namdhari Saint.
The Hola festival held here on March-April attracts large number of followers of Namdhari sect. During the fair simple marriages are solemnized.
