Dera Baba Nanak

Dera Baba Nanak is a religious centre situated about 35 km west of Gurdaspur, on the Pakistan border. It was built in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Sahib, the founder of Sikhism. He had spent 12 years of his later life in this place. On the day of Maghi in the second week of January, thousands of devotees from all over India come to visit this place. Another major attraction nearby is the Gurdwara Tahli Sahib.
