Deogarh District




Deogarh District, with its headquarters at Deogarh, came into existence in 1994. It is spread across an area of 2,781 sq km, with a population of about 300,000.

The climate is of extreme nature with the temperatures soaring to 45 degree in the summer and dipping to zero degree in the winter. Average rainfall received is 1,529 mm. Majority of the population depend upon agriculture for their livelihood.

Pradhanpat hill and waterfall is a famous attraction worth visiting.
