Delhi Kennel Club (DKC), one of the oldest and leading Kennel Clubs in India, was established in the early forties. Affiliated to the Kennel Club of India (KCI), it caters to the needs of canine lovers in and around New Delhi, the capital of India.
The main objective of the club is to promote pure blood line dogs and encourage breeding and rearing of dogs. It also helps in processing applications for importing dogs, dog registrations, litter registrations, dog transfers and other certificates of canine interests. The club has been conducting obedience classes to boost the real test of quality in dogs.
DKC conducts annual dog shows, which attract a number of participants from all over India.
