Delhi Horse Show, one of India’s premier horse-riding events, is held in the month of February at
New Delhi. The two day sporting event draws competitors from all over India to take part in show jumping, dressage events, and tent-pegging. Competitors who participate in the show include civilian riders, teams and participants from the services, the police, the paramilitary forces, colleges and schools. Delhi horse show is the only show in the country which is conducted under bright artificial lights.
