With the aim to showcase the works of native artisans in one place, the museum displays woodcarvings, paintings, paper-mache, embroidery and a full-sized wooden haveli from Gujarat. The main attraction of the museum is tribal and rural crafts. The museum also houses a Crafts Museum Shop. The artisans offer live demonstrations and glimpses of the folk arts of India.

The museum is open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm except on Mondays.
