Deccan Vipassana Research Center or Dhammalaya is a vipassana meditation center situated in Kolhapur District of Maharashtra. This sacred center is located in 22 acres of sprawling land surrounded by hills in the southern and western side.
Regular 10 day meditation courses are offered. Accommodation is provided in single and double rooms with attached bathrooms. Pure vegetarian food is served. Dhammalaya has a large, scientifically designed dhamma hall for meditation.
