Rock formations on the
Deccan plateau border the outskirts of
Hyderabad in
Andhra Pradesh. These are naturally sculpted gray granite rocks of the Deccan plateau. Geologists say the rocks are 25 billion years old. These rocks are the only such specimen of the Deccan Shield area in Asia.
