Dawibawl




Dawibawl is a ritual practiced by the Lushais of Mizoram. It was performed to appease the spirit of the mountains, rivers and trees, the Huais. The ceremony involved sacrificing a cock and a hen. This sacrifice to please the spirit Huais, was conducted outside the village.
