Daudhar

Daudhar is a small hamlet located about 22 km south-east of Moga, Faridkot District. This village is believed to have been sanctified by the blessed visit of both Guru Nanak Dev and Guru Hargobind.

Daudhar houses a major Sikh shrine, about 1 km north-west, named as Gurdwara Patshahi Pahli te Chhevin. Nestled on a sandy mound amidst picturesque fields, this gurdwara is popularly known as Kutia which literally means a cottage. Folklore has it that Guru Hargobind had encamped here during his journey through the Malva region. Daudhar is also famous as an archeological site and the birthplace of Khushal Singh, a saint with mastery of Sikh music.

Amritsar International Airport is the nearest airport.
