Dauconda




Dauconda is a town in the upper part of South Goa District. It is on the banks of the Chandepar River, near North Goa-South Goa border, and is nearly 5 km south of Darbandora. Dabal (2 km), Sigao (8 km) and Bandoli (8 km) are the nearby places.

Selaulim Dam and Jama Masjid can be visited while in Dauconda. Darbandora- Sanvordem road passes close by. Sanvordem Curchorem Railway Station and Kalem Railway Station serve Dauconda. The nearest airport is Goa Airport, about 30 km away in Dabolim.
