Datmir




The small village of Datmir is located three kilometers away from Taluka in Uttarkashi District. It lies at an elevation of 3,400 m on the Har-Ki-Doon Valley-Ruinsara Tal trekking route. The village has a wooden temple, dedicated to Duryodhana. Tons River flows close by. The village is surrounded by chestnut, oak, rhododendron and deodar trees and offers a panoramic view of the Himalayas. Govind Wildlife Sanctuary and Sankri are the nearby attractions. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport. The nearest railway station is at Dehradun.
