Dasasvamedha Ghat

Dasasvamedha Ghat, a place with historical significance, is one of the busiest ghats in Varanasi of Uttar Pradesh. It is mythologically related to Lord Brahma, who performed Dasa-asvamedha (ten - horses sacrifice) at this site.

Nearby are the shrines of Sulatankesvara, Brahmesvara, Varahesvara, Abhaya Vinayaka and Bandi Devi. Each of them is associated with important pilgrim journeys.
