Darna Dam




Constructed by British Government in 1916, Darna Dam is a masonry situated at 20 km from Wadivarhe on the Nasik-Mumbai Highway. The total length of the dam is 1634 m, and the maximum height of the dam is 28 m. The total catchment area at the dam site is 404 sq km.

This dam site is located in Igatpuri taluk. Igatpuri Railway Station is on the Mumbai-Nasik railway route.
