Daringbadi




Daringbadi, dubbed as the ‘Kashmir of Orissa’, is a pretty hill station situated about 100 km from Phulbani and 50 km from Baliguda in Kandhamal District, Orissa. Situated at an altitude of 3000 ft above sea level, the place is gifted with natural bounties including pine jungles, coffee gardens and beautiful valleys.

Daringbadi is the only place in Orissa which experiences snow fall during winter. Set in a beautiful spot surrounded by thick rainforests with wild animals, it is an ideal summer resort.

Daringbadi can be reached from Bhubaneswar (211 km) and other important places of the state by regular bus services. The nearest railway station is at Berhampur (127 km).
