Dariapur is a pilgrimage center located in
South 24 Parganas District. It is easily accessible from Petua city. Kapal Kundala Mandir is the main attraction. The idol is no longer present in the temple.
Dariapur is the birth place of Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, the great Bengali poet. Every year in the first week of April, Bankim Mela is held. Old Lighthouse is another attraction.
