Darauli Bhai

Darauli Bhai, also known as Guru Di Darauli, is a village in Faridkot District of Punjab. It is about 2 km from Dagru Railway Station and about 14 km from Moga. Guru Hargobind Sahib had visited this village on several occasions and he used to stay here for fairly long periods.

During Guru Sahib's time, this area was mostly jungle and it was known as Dagru Pargana as well as Jungle Desh (forest area). Here the main attractions include three gurdwaras, namely Gurdwara Damdama Sahib Patshahi Chhevin, Gurdwara Janam Asthan Baba Gurditta Ji and Gurdwara Mata Damodari Ji. There is a well, known as Guru Da Khuh, which is believed to have been sunk under the directions of Guru Sahib.
