Daranagar




Daranagar is a prominent town in Kaushambi District. This town, about 17 km north of the district headquarters of Manjhanpur, is famous as a celebrated Jain pilgrim center. The chief attraction here is the Daranagar Teerth, dedicated to Bhagwan Shri Rishabhdev.

Kara, about 2 km from Daranagar, is famous for Sheetla Mata Temple, Khetrapal Bhairav Temple, Hanuman Temple and Kaleshwar Mahadev Temple. Prabhasgiri, another holy place, is at a distance of 45 km from Daranagar.

Daranagar, located on the National Highway 2, is around 65 km from Allahabad. Sirathu Railway Station and Varanasi Airport are the nearest access points.
