Danish Fort is located at
Poompuhar which is 21 kilometers away from Sirkali,
Nagapattinam District. The fort was built in 1620. The fort is now under the control of the Archeological Department of
Tamil Nadu.
The fort also houses a museum, which is open to public on all days except Fridays.
