Danihata




Danihata is a village in Bardhaman District and is located near Patuli. It is 5 km south of Katwa.

The place is of religious importance to the Gaudiya Vaishnava Sect as a temple of Sri Gopinath is located here. Sradha ceremony on the anniversary of the death of Govinda Ghosh is conducted at this village. During the month of Vaisakha, the deity is taken to Krishnanagar for the Baradola ceremony.
