Dangi Dance




Dangi is one of the popular folk dances of the Chamba area.

It is performed in lines and semicircle models, and is generally performed by Gaddi women during festivals, weddings and Jataras. The love ballads of Sunni and Bhukhu are sung during the performance. Dhol and pawri are among the musical instruments used in this dance.
