Dangar Ayee Temple is located at Gunjabari in
Coochbehar, a historic town centered on the Sagardighi Lake. During 1839-1847, Kameswari Debi, the first queen of Maharaja Shibendra Narayan, built this temple. The temple is renowned as the 'Aunt's House' of Lord Madan Mohan. Hence the locality is known as Gunjabari.
The nearest railhead is New Coochbehar Railway Station. Alternatively one can also opt the Coochbehar Bus Station, 140 km south-east of Siliguri.
