Dalmau




Dalmau is a historically important town in Rae Bareli. Located along the banks of Ganges, the place was famous from days of old. There are quite a number of ancient structures in the town that refelct its rich legacy. The notable among them are King Dal's fort, Palace of Nawab Shuza-ud-daula and Baithak of Alhaa Udal. The Bara Math, Mahesh Giri Math, Nirala memorial Institute and Dalmau Pump canal are situated here. A well, constructed by Ebrahim Sharki, also attracts visitors.
